Hydrosol- Rose

A hydrosol is the water left behind after extracting an essential oil from a plant through water/steam distillation. In other words, it is the natural byproduct of making essential oils! They are distilled from various parts of plants such as the leaves, petals, roots, or seeds.

A gentle option for delicate, sensitive and inflamed skin. The calming & soothing properties of Rose is a great option for all skin types, especially dry and mature skin types. Our hydrosol is made from distilling certified organic Rose (Rosa damascena) flowers. This hydrosol carries a very strong floral rose scent which occurs comes from distilling this aromatic botanical; does not contain any synthetic scents.

Multi Use:

On the face as an anti-inflammatory toner for redness, dryness, rosacea, eczema, and flaking without further drying skin out. A natural perfume or extra hydration body mist, or on hair as an everyday hydrating mist that smells delightful.

R. damascena is one of the most important species of Rosaceae family mainly known for its perfuming. This plant contains several components such as terpenes, glycosides, flavonoids, and anthocyanins that have beneficial effects on human health.

Directions: Mist on after cleansing. Use on any part of the body to give yourself a boost of aromatherapy or calm anxiety. Best if keep refrigerated as this product does not contain any preservatives.
